Working trip: Stowe/Waterbury → Woodstock/Quechee.

OUR DEFAULT STRUCTURE

Use two accommodations, not a different inn every night. The first base should prioritize access to north-central riding plus an enjoyable post-ride town; the second should create a meaningful village/inn contrast and improve access to the southern half of the week.

STOWE/WATERBURY — WHAT TO BOOK

Default/practical profile: walkable or near-town property with easy vehicle unloading, secure bike storage or explicit room permission, refrigerator/early breakfast, laundry and parking.

Premium/recovery profile: resort or higher-end property only if pool/spa/recovery and non-rider value outweigh any extra driving to rides.

Value alternative: lower-cost property with strong bike/case practicality; do not save on room rate if the result is daily route-driving friction.

WOODSTOCK/QUECHEE — WHAT TO BOOK

Default: walkable inn/hotel that makes the village/food experience part of the trip.

Premium/recovery: higher-end inn/resort with meaningful recovery/non-rider benefit.

Value/practical: reliable vehicle/bike handling and breakfast, even if less atmospheric.

WHAT TO VERIFY

Bike-in-room/storage; case receiving/storage; laundry; breakfast timing; parking/unloading; shipped-bike receiving; proximity to chosen routes. Named shortlist is a final verification task.
